After 34 hours of driving and 8 states later we woke up in Nebraska today ready to drive to our new home only a short 4 hours away!

Wednesday morning was full of excitement and emotions...we could not sleep so decided to get up at 3:30am and start our journey West. We said our tearful goodbyes to Franklin, took a deep breath and started on our trip. Massachusetts was a short hour and a half continuing right into New York for most of our first day. Passing memories like Niagara Falls where Natalie and Sarah's parents spent their honeymoon, and Rochester, NY where our cousin Suz graduated from. Sarah remembering the long drive to her graduation with her Uncle and Grandparents! The next state was a short visit through top of Penn, Ohio, and into Indiana.

Thursday was another early morning, waking up at 4am and heading out ready for the long states of Iowa and Nebraska. The early morning stretch was a bit difficult having to drive through the timezone and seeing 4:30am twice on the truck clock. Chicago, IL was interesting driving our massive truck with car in tow through rush hour...but we passed through like pros! As we drove through the city we saw signs for Purdue University and remembered our grandfather. Iowa was beautiful and Nebraska was like pulling teeth.

It's Friday now and we are leaving to see our new home! No looking back and ready for whats around the next turn! Here we come Colorado!
